THE POLICE SENT EARLY TO THE TRT REGION AT HOURS WHEN THE PRIME MINISTER WAS NOT AWARE OF ANYTHING

Policemen that Came to TRT in the Early Hours While There Were No Signs Yet

During the hearings, in which the statements of the complainants, who mainly worked as police and private security guards, were heard, it became clear what had happened on TRT that evening. 

The common features of these complainants, Metin Koç, Asım Bulat and Seyda Topal, is that they are members of the police force.

These police officers, who were the members of the police force working in three separate and unrelated units, came to the TRT region at the early hours of the evening of the incident.

THE POLICE SUPERVISOR WHO KNEW THAT THERE WAS ACTION IN THE AREA WHILE THE SOLDIER WAS NOT AT TRT YET (!)

Metin Koç, one of the complainants, who gave his statement on 16 September 2019, said in his statement that he was on duty at 18.00-08.00 on July 15, and that he received an instruction from his superior to go to the TRT Oran region at around 21.00-21.30 when he was around the General Staff Headquarters.

According to Koç, his supervisor told him that there was activity in the TRT region and asked him to go there. The time of this order is particularly striking since at around 21.00-21.30, there was no activity in the TRT region. 

MIT President Hakan Fidan left the General Staff at 20.20 due to his appointment with Muaz Hatip, the former leader of the Syrian opposition. We learn this from the Commission report prepared by the Assembly and the letter sent by the MIT to the Commission.

Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım also said in an interview that he reached Fidan by phone between 22.30 and 23.00, and to the questions he asked about the attempt, he received an "everything is normal, we are working" response from Fidan

According to the statements of another person who was with Fidan in his appointment with Muaz Hatip, Mehmet Gormez, the former President of Religious Affairs, Hakan Fidan left them around 22:00 after a phone call. Görmez said that Fidan did not tell them about the coup attempt.

In other words, there was no reason or situation for the Police Chief to give an instruction to go to the TRT Oran Region at between 21.00-21.30. However, the police officers declare that they received orders from their superiors that there was movement towards the coup attempt in the TRT Oran Region.

This is proof that both the MIT and some of the police chiefs were aware of everything in advance and deliberately preferred to remain inactive until the statement was read from TRT and waited in order to draw the soldiers into a trap, which would cause the deaths of citizens as well.
