The Marmaris Trap of Hulusi Akar and Hakan Fidan
The Marmaris Trap of Hulusi Akar and Hakan Fidan
Hulusi Akar and Hakan Fidan's management styles on July 15 contains many contradictions and details that do not fit the ordinary flow of life. Although these two names serve a certain structure and at the same time their own interests, it must be admitted that they have successful careers in their professional lives due to their merits in acting in a planned and calculated manner. If these contradictory situations are not caused by a lack of skill, it can be said that these behaviors are related to the implementation of a known plan. Colonel Ramazan Gözel reveals the information regarding the Marmaris incident, one of these contradictions, in his court statement.
“… Armağan Ustael says; (Hulusi Akar) called me at 18:30 and told me to call the first, second and third armies and give them his order to stop their flight activities in the air. This is clear. This is the statement in his own handwriting. Well, what should we do with the shift supervisor who received this order? What should we do with the first, second, and third armies? The shift supervisor says that he thought the order probably comprised helicopters and therefore he called the Army Aviation Command first and then the Gendarmerie General Command. He says that Akar gave an order to stop the armies, so he considered it as helicopters. He thought it might be a missile threat. In other words, there is no order given to all planes, all forces, all armed forces, as Hulusi Akar claims. …”
“While Hulusi Akar is meeting with the undersecretary (Hakan Fidan) at the office, he calls the head of personnel and asks for the personnel information of the two pilots. This was also asked to İlhan Talu here. Talu said, Akar asked me about Murat Dağlı and Major Deniz Aldemir, who were mentioned in the F-type structuring file at the Land Aviation Command, and I gave it to him. Of course, it can be said that these two pilots are not important here, and this may not be the subject of this case. One of the two pilots whose information is requested is the Army Aviation Regiment Commander in Izmir, that is, not in Ankara. Supposedly, there was a report about the abduction of the MIT Undersecretary in Ankara, but the information card of the Regimental Commander in Izmir is requested. This situation does not coincide with the information in the report that three helicopters would go to MIT. Because Murat Dağlı is in İzmir. This points to an event in the Izmir region rather than an operation to be carried out at the MIT Undersecretariat. Were the Undersecretary and Hulusi Akar aware that helicopters would go to Marmaris? Was the head of protection for the president called for this? If so, why was the helicopter not mentioned?”
In the above statement, Ramazan Gözel touches upon very vital points, which we may have heard for the first time.
- The first flight ban order given by Hulusi Akar at 18:30 covers the flight activities of the first, second and third armies. There is no flight ban for the Aegean army, which includes the route of Izmir and Marmaris. The helicopter flight was declared free and the Marmaris flight was allowed.
- The notifying pilot O.K. is located in Ankara. In order to understand the intelligence value of this notice, while the information card of O.K should have been requested, this person’s name was not even mentioned.
- Why was the information card of Aviator Murat Dağlı in İzmir being requested when the notice was directed at the headquarters of the MIT Undersecretariat? Although Murat Dağlı did not admit it himself, he received a life sentence for taking Gökhan Şahin Sönmezateş and his team to Marmaris as part of the so-called coup attempt.
- While they had such information about Murat Dağlı as of 18.30, why was nothing done until 02.15 at night, which was the departure time of the helicopter from İzmir Çiğli, and why was no intervention made before the events started?
It is not difficult to deduce the following from this information. Hulusi Akar and Hakan Fidan did not deliberately prevent an event that would take place in the Marmaris region and allowed it to happen. Let's put together Gökhan Sönmezateş's words "I got the order from the king", referring to Akar, with this information. What does this information mean to you?
Remember(!) On the way to the truth, one walks while skipping the doubt stones.
