Provocateurs and Armed Elements Among Civilians

It is reasonable for the civilians who went to the Bosphorus Bridge or took to the streets on the night of July 15 to take such an action to protect democracy. However, the responsibility of the state administrators who put them in danger by inviting them to the streets and leave them in the middle of provocation is absolute. Of course, it is clear that every element on the bridge that night was not there to protect democracy and aimed to provoke. Let's clarify the issue by giving some examples.

  1. Sinan ARSLAN had 2 buckets of ammunition and used G3 rifle and MP5 guns,
  2. The person who called himself a police officer, had a registration number of 0000 and had an M-16 rifle and a 7.65 pistol,
  3. Aziz ÇELİK, Sefer MERİÇ, Süleyman ÇAKIR, Alican TATLIKİRAZ used pistols and submachine guns,
  4. Ali BORAN used his Canik 55 pistol,
  5. Fatih ÖLMEZ used his Satir brand rifle.

Have these caused the grievances of the complainants? In addition, according to the statements of the complainants and witnesses, there is information about the presence of provocateurs and terrorists at the scene and in the squares. These are:

  1. People with veiled faces, civilian intelligence officers and some citizens,
  2. Groups of motorcycle provocateurs with long-barreled guns,
  3. Persons who prepare Molotov cocktails and throw them into the soldier's vehicle,
  4. It is the provocateurs who ask others to approach the soldier and shoot.

However, substances such as alcohol, cannabis, ecstasy, and cocaine were found in the blood of some of the people who came before the soldiers and died. At the same time, there is a possibility that these elements, which carried weapons and ammunition, opened fire randomly or shot at the soldier.

The persons with alcohol, cannabis, ecstasy and cocaine in their blood are as follows.

  1. Mehmet Ali KILIÇ: drugs/marijuana,
  2. Mustafa KAYMAKCI: alcohol,
  3. Onur KILIÇ: drugs/cocaine,
  4. Şenol SAĞMAN: alcohol,
  5. Şeyhmus DEMİR: drugs/ecstasy, alcohol,
  6. Lokman OKTAY: alcohol.

As seen in these examples, the group of people on the bridge was not only democracy fighter innocent civilians. Considering the uncertain shootings from different points and these facts, it is not far from reason to say that soldiers took action to protect themselves.
