FAKE VETERANS OF JULY 15 IN THE TRT REGION
POLICE OFFICER ASIM BULAT WAS INJURED BY A SHOTGUN BULLET, BUT IT WAS PROPAGATED AS IF HE WAS INJURED BY SOLDIER’S FIRE.
What the 2nd Class Police Chief Asım Bulat, one of the complainants, said in his statement on September 16, 2019, is very interesting and has features pointing to the background of the incidents of July 15.
Asım Bulat said that that evening his colleague Resul called him at 22.15 and asked him to go to TRT. Asım Bulat, who stated that he went to TRT around 22.30-22.45, stated that the same Resul called him again after a while and said, "There are 8 tanks coming to you." However, as it is known, there were no tanks or armored vehicles going to the TRT region that night.
Asım Bulat also stated that he frequently met with Engin Dinç, Head of the Security Intelligence Department at the time, and his two assistants in the TRT region. Bulat, who gave the impression that he was hiding something carefully during his statement, claimed that he was injured around the left kneecap as a result of the fire opened by the soldier. However, after the report he received was read at the request of the defendants and the answers he gave to the questions, it was understood that the size of his wound was 2x2 mm, and it was probably formed by a shotgun shot. While answering a question, Asım Bulat described his wound as "the size of a bird's eye". He stated that he did not see the shooter and could not identify him.
Three people, whose names Asım Bulat gave as witnesses for the injury, were heard at the court and all three declared that they did not know Asım Bulat and that they did not personally witness the injury. In addition, these witnesses, especially Abdullah Gürhan, gave important information about the evening of the incident.
POLICE OFFICER SEYDA TOPAL ALLEGED THAT "THE SOLDIER WHO CAME TO SURRENDER” FIRED AT HIM AT THE SAME TIME
The third police officer, Seyda Topal, gave a statement on 17 September 2019. In his statement based on a fiction full of contradictions, he stated that he brought a bus full of police officers from the Intelligence Department to the scene and that he saw Engin Dinç at the scene.
Seyda Topal said that on the night of the incident, a Police Chief named Salih had warned the soldiers with a megaphone until the morning that they had "committed a constitutional crime". Topal also said that he was holding the megaphone next to Chief Salih. But 15 minutes later, in his cross-examination in the court, he stated that the megaphone was on the vehicle. He stated that Engin Dinç had also warned over the same megaphone. There is not a single statement confirming Seyda Topal. He publicly made a statement full of lies and with great contempt for the court.
Seyda Topal gave his statement in a constant effort of pity and agitation. While he was telling the events that did not happen as if they had happened, he also told the events in accordance with his own fiction by distorting and changing them.
While describing the incident of his own injury, he reluctantly admitted that Specialized Sergeant Seval Genç, whom he claimed had injured him, was in a position where he could not shoot at him on target.
Topal said that the chief of police Halit Yılmaz grabbed Seval Genç from behind and brought him towards him. In response to the questions asked, he admitted that many civilians were in the brawl and at both sides of Seval Genç at that time. The photographs of the images that Seyda Topal submitted to the court also confirm this situation.
When asked, "Why would someone who came to you to surrender voluntarily shoot at you?" Topal did not answer the question. By not answering this question, Topal actually explained that Seval Genç, who was in the middle of a brawl and was in close contact with many citizens on his right and left, was in a position where he could not physically shoot at Topal.
The facts learned in this news series are the issues revealed by the statements of TRT Private Security personnel and civilian employees as well as the police officers. If the police had not been the complainants, they probably would not have come to testify and the Guard Regiment personnel would not have been able to decipher the engagement of the Police Intelligence in the TRT Oran region with the citizens and the TRT General Director.
As a matter of fact, when the court asked the Police Department for the names of the police officers who were in the TRT region on the night of July 15, the Police Department gave the names of only two police officers. These two police officers stated at the court that there were around 60-70 police officers in the TRT region with them. This is a concrete evidence proving that someone was trying to cover up and hide something insistently and diligently.
From this point of view, it is considered that it is a great fortune that police officers Metin Koç, Seyda Topal and Asım Bulat, who made important statements in revealing the facts of July 15, became complainants in this case.
We firmly believe that those who set a trap for the patriotic and honorable soldiers of the Turkish Armed Forces for their own future and ambitions will one day be violently slapped with these truths that are hidden from the nation, no matter how much they want to hide the truth.
